Unfortunately, we are not legally allowed to prescribe or supply medication.

But, if you have purchased or have prescribed medication with you, then we can apply it for you at the end of your treatment. In fact medication absorbs more effectivity after treatments and so this is considered the best time to apply medicated treatment to your nails.

As qualified Foot Healthcare Practitioners (FHP), our job is to care for the overall health of your feet.

Your feet keep you moving and give you the independence and freedom to tackle any job or activity. We are trained to assess and treat all common foot health issues like ingrown nails, thickened or fungal nails and skin complaints such as calluses, corns or cracked heels.

Working closely with other healthcare professionals means that if any further treatment is required, we can refer you to your GP or a local Podiatrist.

Remember to always remove your nail varnish before coming to your appointment.

The foundation of your well-being

Nail Cutting and Filing

Our Nail Trims and Clean-Up service is designed to keep your toenails healthy and tidy. This treatment includes precise cutting and filing, as well as a specialized burring technique to reduce thickened nails, making them more comfortable and improving their appearance. We also carefully address any hard skin around the nails that may be causing discomfort.

Ingrown Toenails

This can occur when the toenail digs into the skin, causing inflammation and sometimes infection. Treatment may require cutting away a section of nail from the nail edge and ensuring the part of the nail that has ingrown is fully removed. Once it has been treated, the toe will be dressed with a nonadherent dressing and follow up advice will be given.

Corns and Calluses

Corns and calluses are areas of thickened, hardened skin that form in response to excessive pressure or friction.

Our professional treatment involves careful reduction of the hardened skin using a scalpel. For corns, a precise nucleation process is then employed for complete removal. The treated area is subsequently filed smooth to ensure comfort and prevent recurrence.

Walk comfortably again

For those with stubborn, set-in fungal nails, especially patients with diabetes or compromised immune systems who struggle to clear infections, we can significantly improve the appearance of brittle, thickened, and discoloured nails.

Preventative foot care

Proactive care for happy feet

We offer advice on controlling and treating foot complaints such as Athlete's Foot and Verrucas. It is important to keep these conditions in check as both are highly contagious, so a lack of proper treatment can lead to them spreading to other parts of the body or to other people.

Earlier detection for healthier feet

High Risk Foot Screening

For those with high-risk feet, such as people with diabetes, neurovascular assessments are vital. These checks help identify nerve damage and poor circulation which can mask injuries and hinder healing. Assessments allow practitioners to detect problems early, providing timely care that helps prevent severe issues and protects a person's mobility and well-being.
